A Tribute to the Proteas of Mont Rochelle
I wanted to hike the Genadendal trail for some time now and I was ecstatic when I friend invited me to join. The trail starts at the small town of Genadendal, which is not far from the more well known town of Greyton.
Tsitsikamma (days 3 and 4)
…the Tsitsikamma, an enchanted forest hidden between fynbos filled mountains, spiderwebs glowing in the morning light, hairy worms wiggling by, and butterflies soaring amongst fluttering leaves…
Tsitsikamma (days 1 and 2)
The day was starting to end and soft sunlight was infiltrating the forest. A root of an enormous tree anchors the foreground, while sunlit ferns invites you to explore the trail into the forest.
